Sodalite & Blue Pearl Interchange Earrings Sterling Silver Oxidized
These sodalite stones were made to wear with denim. They also look beautiful with white or neutral tones. I added deep blue freshwater pearls to dress them up or down. I oxidized the earrings and hand buffed them to a soft satin finish.
My Interchange earrings are designed to be worn at least seven different ways (more if you wear asymmetrical earrings or add your own dangles). Each pair is created with three sets of dangles. Slide the dangles off and on the hoops. Wear the dangles individually or together. Mix and match them to suit your mood, outfit or an occasion. For a visual explanation, I've included a photo of the earring insert I send with each pair. It explains the seven combinations.
Sodalite generally symbolizes inner peace and harmony. It is believed to be help dispel fears and promote a clear insightful mind. It is also thought to be extra lucky for writers.
Pearls generally symbolize honesty, purity and integrity. They are believed to bring wisdom through experience, develop nurturing qualities and easy mental overload.
I designed the sterling silver hoops. I hand forge and tumble each one. This pair includes the following dangles:
7 mm blue freshwater pearl on sterling silver wire
6 x 9 mm sodalite cylinder suspended from a sterling silver chain
4 x 13 mm sodalite tube suspended from a sterling silver round and oval link chain
The earrings with the longest dangle attached are 2 3/16 inches long
They will be placed in a Kraft Paper jewelry box filled with cream color crinkle cut paper and tied with a stretchy silver cord (see photo). The box is mailed inside a bubble envelope. I deliberately do not put any labels or branding on the jewelry boxes. I hope this encourages you to reuse them. You will also receive a mini Ziploc bag you may store the piece in (to help protect them from tarnish).
