Carnelian And Crackle Agate Interchange Earrings Sterling Silver

Rich warm carnelian stones and this white and orangey red crackle agate make a fantastic pair. It reminds me of berries with cream. The oval rings that suspend the crackle agate give you a contemporary, fresh look. Or, wear the faceted rondelles for more of a classic style.

My Interchange earrings are designed to be worn at least seven different ways (more if you wear asymmetrical earrings or add your own dangles). Each pair is created with three sets of dangles. Slide the dangles off and on the hoops. Wear the dangles individually or together. Mix and match them to suit your mood, outfit or an occasion. For a visual explanation, I've included a photo of the earring insert I send with each pair. It explains the seven combinations.

Some ancient cultures believed agate could make the wearer invisible. It's not my favorite super power but it's in the top five. Agate is believed to improve mental functions and thought to improve clarity. Some also believe it helps with insomnia and promotes healing.

Carnelian symbolizes courage and protection. It is also believed to bring happiness and fulfillment. It is thought to aid in decision making, protect against fire and to help allow your true self to shine though without fear.

I designed the sterling silver hoops. I hand forge and tumble each one. This pair includes the following dangles:

6 x 8 mm faceted carnelian rondelle and sterling silver beads on sterling silver wire
10 mm round crackle agate and sterling silver beads suspended from a sterling silver oval link
4 mm round carnelian suspended from a sterling silver chain

The earrings with the longest dangle attached are 2 1/16 inches long

They will be placed in a Kraft Paper jewelry box filled with cream color crinkle cut paper and tied with a stretchy silver cord (see photo). The box is mailed inside a bubble envelope. I deliberately do not put any labels or branding on the jewelry boxes. I hope this encourages you to reuse them. You will also receive a mini Ziploc bag you may store the piece in (to help protect them from tarnish).
