Faceted & Matte Amethyst Interchange Earrings Sterling Silver

Amethyst is the crowning glory of the gem world in my opinion. It's not my birthstone but I wish it had been so I'd have an excuse to buy more! Maybe it's because purple is generally associated with royalty? I'm not sure. I do know it is gorgeous combined with silver because the cool, liquid metal tones bring out the warmth and richness of this velvet, violet stone.

My Interchange earrings are designed to be worn at least seven different ways (more if you wear asymmetrical earrings or add your own dangles). Each pair is created with three sets of dangles. Slide the dangles off and on the hoops. Wear the dangles individually or together. Mix and match them to suit your mood, outfit or an occasion. For a visual explanation, I've included a photo of the earring insert I send with each pair. It explains the seven combinations.

Amethysts are not only in the British Crown Jewels but were a favorite of Catherine the Great and Egyptian royalty. It is as popular today as it was in ancient times. Amethyst generally symbolizes nobility, sincerity, security and peace of mind. It is believed to magnify psychic abilities, enhance right-brain activity, create clarity of thought and assist in attaining wisdom.

I designed the sterling silver hoops. I hand forge and tumble each one. This pair includes the following dangles:

6 mm smoky quartz on sterling silver wire
6 mm Swarovski crystal bicone suspended from a sterling silver chain
14 x 10 mm faceted oval smoky quartz on sterling silver wire

6 mm matte amethyst on sterling silver wire
6 mm rich dark purple amethyst suspended from from sterling silver chain
9 x 11 mm faceted amethyst rough (these have a distressed appearance) nuggets suspended from sterling silver rounded rectangle link chain

The earrings with the longest dangle attached are 2 3/16 inches long

They will be placed in a Kraft Paper jewelry box filled with cream color crinkle cut paper and tied with a stretchy silver cord (see photo). They are mailed inside a bubble envelope. I deliberately do not put any labels or branding on the jewelry boxes. I hope this encourages you to reuse them. You will also receive a mini Ziploc bag you may store them in (to help protect them from tarnish).

If you do not want the price displayed on your earrings, just let me know. I’ll be sure to remove it. This makes it easier for you if you are shipping it as a gift.

If you would like a printed receipt included in the box, just ask. I'll be happy to include one for you.
